JSC "KazRICA" confirmed the status of buildingSMART authorised training centre

JSC "KazRICA" has successfully passed the accreditation confirmation as an authorized training center for the buildingSMART International Certification Program. In this connection, applications are now being accepted for training and certification of specialists under the "buildingSmart Professional Certification-Foundation: Basic" program from the international organization buildingSMART, specializing in the development and support of standards and technologies in the field of Building Information Modeling (BIM).

The program is designed for design engineers and other construction specialists who wish to acquire qualifications in the field of construction information modeling technologies with the possibility of subsequent examination and receipt of internationally recognized documents. "buildingSmart Professional Certification-Foundation: Basic" is a basic training program that provides course participants with knowledge of the fundamental principles of building information modeling, leading global practices, as well as the implementation and application of BIM in the construction industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Training can be conducted both online and offline at the accredited training center of the buildingSmart Information Modeling Center of JSC "KazRICA".

Upon completion of training, an international standard certificate is issued, recognized in more than 100 countries.

"It is expected that starting from 2024, the design of technologically complex civilian objects involving state investment will become mandatory in Kazakhstan. This means that in the near future, there will be a growing need for competent specialists proficient in BIM tools. JSC 'KazRICA' is the only accredited buildingSmart training center in Kazakhstan, and graduates of our course who have passed the certification will be included in the central open register of buildingSmart International, which will enable them to successfully compete not only in the domestic but also in the international market," noted Zarina Kabzhan, head of the construction management department of the Information Modeling Center of JSC "KazRICA", supervisor of the buildingSmart Professional Certification program in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The only accredited training center in Kazakhstan for training under the International Professional Certification program buildingSMART has been operating on the basis of "JSC 'KazRICA'" since 2021.
